Landshapes
A process-based installation composed of soil, banners, notes, photographs, maps and field work

”In my search for landscapes, I study micro-plots in the area surrounding Brandts 13/plot nr. 1281. I walk along the yellow pavement finding the soft areas exposed by missing asphalt, cement or bricks. I find these spots in the spaces between buildings, in flower beds, the weathered concrete, or there where small roots start poking up between the stones. I stop and chart these occurrences- their location, form and character – from street level on up to the museum. I pursue this inner topography of present-day geology op to the landing on the first floor where these fragments are reassembled and the study of the landscape continues”. – Anna
