The nine paintings refer to diverse elements from countless visual worlds: religious narratives, mythologies, animated films and the artist’s own possessions, amongst other things. Such unpretentious juxtapositions lead the thoughts towards a space where both imagination and perceptions of reality have free reign. The pictures represent conjured-up universes, functioning as visual ‘warehouses’ or storerooms for the collective memory. A kaleidoscopic stockpile of narratives, which can help to spark far-out thoughts, insights and conceptions in the observer.
