MAY SEVENTEENTH

3rd year at Funen Art Academy exhibits around Odense from May 17th. The show – or rather, the shows – constitute the graduation projects of the students finishing the Basic Module at Funen Art Academy.

The students have chosen different sites around the city to suit the nature of their projects. There will be an opening, film screenings and a concert at Teater Momentum, an archive-based project in Historiens Hus, a public text work in city space, a mapping work in FAA Project Room at Brandts, a self-publishing project at the public libraries in Odense and finally a self-organized exhibition space on Skt. Knuds Kirkestræde.

The students have chosen to gather the presentation of the shows on the website http://www.syttendemaj.dk, which will function as a catalogue and platform for the project in its entirety. Here you will be able to find the works in digital shape, art theoretical texts relating to the different works of art and, finally, information on how and when the physical works of art can be experienced.

The opening is held at Teater Momentum on May 17th from 7pm-02am. During the night, there will be film screenings and and a free concert with Giana Factory.
