Stine Hebert – new Rector of Funen Art Academy
The board of Funen Art Academy has hired Stine Hebert as the new Rector. Stine Hebert is 33 years old and is currently a curator at Kunsthal Charlottenborg. She will take up the position 1st of March.
Stine Hebert is mag. art in art history from University of Copenhagen and also holds an MA in Contemporary Art Theory from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
Hebert knows Funen Art Academy well as she has been teaching as an art theorist at the Academy 2011-12. Hebert has previously worked as a freelance curator and has created projects in collaboration with a number of international institutions, and she has previously been Director of BAC – Baltic Art Center in Sweden.
Hebert has a wide international network which Funen Art Academy, as an internationally oriented art school, expects to benefit greatly from. In addition, she is an experienced curator, teacher and examiner and has contributed to numerous publications on art.
