Students from FAA open new exhibition space in Odense

Habitat is a new community and student run exhibition space founded by students of FAA.

The community consists of Nour Fog, Johanne Rude Lindegaard, Sara Grønborg, Oscar Erik Yran, Nick Bruhn-Petersen, Katrine Skovsgaard, Dina Lundvall Nielsen og Maj Bjørnholdt Kjærsig.

Habitat stands for the freedom to exhibit in a not-for-profit, public space, and the experimental freedom inherent in a student organization – which makes the ideal conditions for the Habitat community.

With Habitat we wish to create an exhibition space for the unestablished art scene and thereby contribute to the cultural life lived and unfolded in Odense, says Johanne Rude Lindegaard.

Visitors of Habitat will be able to encounter various exhibitions and artistic medias such as installation, sculpture, painting, video, performance, and drawing – executed and curated by the Habitat community.

Opening of Habitat takes place during Odense Culture Night on the 4th of October 4-9 pm. Address: Lahnsgade 48, 5000 Odense C
