((( Radio FAA ))) presents a series of sound pieces made by students from the Funen Art Academy.

((( Radio FAA ))) was established as a result of a sound and montage workshop run by Jakob Jakobsen in the Fall/Winter semester 2011/2012.

The workshop involved listening sessions with examples from the history of recorded sounds as well as early radio and avantgarde sound composition based on recorded sound material.

Teachers were Tim Hinman of Third Ear, Erik Granly Jensen who introduced Walter Benjamin’s radio works, Stine Hebert who ran a reading group on Auditory Cultures, and Howard Slater who reflected on Jacques Ranciere’s concept of the Distribution of the Sensible.
